Dr. Robert N. Miller

Dr. Miller has a broad interdisciplinary science and engineering technical background, with 40 years of industrial and academic experience in industrial gases and energy R&D. He is a specialist in report writing, proposal strategy and preparation and opportunity development of Government contracts with 25 years’ experience.  His technical expertise spans the areas of coal and fossil energy conversion processes to hydrogen energy, ceramic membranes and green energy,  Currently Dr. Miller is a technical associate with Leonardo Technologies, Inc. providing technical support to the US Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory.  From 1985 to2010 Dr. Miller was a senior contract development manager at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.., where he was responsible for marketing, developing and securing government/industry partnerships to advance strategic technology initiatves for the company. From 1978 to 1980 Dr. Miller was a research chemist at Exxon Research and Engineering Company, developing fundamental coal property correlations for on-line prediction of coal utilization performance in support of Exxon’s coal acqusition objectives. Dr Miller was a member of Vision 2020 Chemical Industry Steering Committee and the Alternative Fuels Renewable Energy Council.  He has been a lecturer and participant in numerous US Government and international hydrogen and clean energy workshops and forums.

Dr. Miller holds a BS in Fuel Science and Engineering and a Ph.D. in  Geochemistry, both from The Pennsylvania State University.  He has authored 37 technical publications and lectures and holds 5 US patents.
